About

Thanks for taking time to gain some insight regarding who I am, and what Wise Journey is all about. My name is Allison Dickman.

Since graduating high school, I have been on a journey to discovering a variety of natural modalities which support the body, mind and soul. I thoroughly enjoy empowering others to seek the same.

Aside from my physical home being in one of the most beautiful places in the world – I have become quite an enthusiast for the word “home.”

I am a home-birther. A homesteader. And a home-schooling mama to six, (pretty awesome) kids.

I became a licensed massage therapist in 2008 and was active in my own practice for 12 years, along with having babies during that time frame. After the birth of my first son in 2009, I became a strong advocate for women to strive for natural, peaceful birth – specifically advocating for this to take place at one’s home – the way women were meant to welcome their babies into the world.

I believe when we honor our whole being, we are able to connect more closely with our true nature, the way God has intended and therefore are able to experience a more fulfilling life. Therefore finding what aligns our mind, body and soul should be the ultimate goal for this life we live.

I love what this life has to offer, and I strive to consciously choose joy, love and gratitude every step of the journey… in which, I hope you do too.

xo,

Allison

A few kind words from others…

“Words cannot express how amazing you were during my labor journey.  Everyone was so impressed by your centered, positive energy, wisdom, and ability to bring out the inner core strength in everyone.  You were an inspiration and guiding voice throughout.  Many thanks for being a part of the most incredible start of motherhood, bringing my son openly and peacefully into this world.  Please continue being a doula for many moons to come, moms and babies will be grateful for it.”                                ~Jessica Z.

“Allison was friendly, professional, had relaxed mannerism.  She helped me feel more calm and prepared for labor.  Massage therapy skills were incredible, helping with pain management and relief.”                                                ~Shanna B.
